Abraham as it is written; saw a city a far off who's builder and maker was God. No man cut any stones there, no man builds there. There is no work for stone masons in that city. All of its foundations and building stones where cut out without hands.

The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ that was written by John tells us of a city to come. That same city that Abraham saw. And yet, we have many who tell us to keep our eyes upon the earthly Jerusalem for a sign of the end time prophecies. However we are told to look up by Christ "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28) and to look forward to that new city which is what John shows us. We are suppose to look up and go forward and not look back and go backwards. We are not to look back to that city of old but to remember how it once was and we can visit the old city and its people as often as we want by visiting it in the Word. Yet we are not going over there to that city that has now waxed old but to a city thats new and not from here below but comes down to us from above. "Look up!"

Here in our times we have allot of "kingdom of..." builders that have come telling us that they are building things for the kingdom to come. And they want our money. Yet these folk who are suppose to be the shepherds of the nation, do not ever seem able to do anything to orchestrate a movement to the betterment of the nation and to turn the tide of politics. Something has come along and decapitated them. Power wise they seem to be impotent.

I can assure you that the idea of building things is not supported in the spiritual reality since there is nothing for us human beings to build there in the heavenly kingdom. It all has already been built. And as for the new city, there is no work for stone masons there. The city's foundations and walls are all built by God. So take heed here at what you build. Construction crews will only find labor here in this world and not in New Jerusalem. And there is no room for a Grand Architect anywhere. Only room for the Creator; and not the Re-fabricator.
