Spiritual Growth
If you do not know that spiritual growth of the body of Christ is to finally come in the last day. Not knowing it is to come into being in the earth. You will not be looking for it. Instead you will be looking for the end of the world and looking unto the growing of the power of the antichrist and not the growth of the power of Christ. And so, you will be more confident in the power of antichrist more than in the coming power of Christ and you will be judged for this.
You have to decide here today who is the greater?
Spiritual growth does not come to maturity merely by praying. If all you spend your life doing is praying and you never study and meditate in the word of Yawah, you know, reading the Holy scriptures. Then you are not about to grow much at all. You will not even know how to pray if you do not obtain knowledge of the word.
Let me show this to you, and if sometime I need to pull out the arsenal of scriptures to drive the truth of this even further well so be it.
Now when I say meditate, I do not mean in the Hindu, Buddist or the new agers sense. All of that is something physical. And it is nonsense also. Attempting to attain a certain state of mind is a physical alteration of the brain. I am talking about connecting with the non physical reality we know to be the reality of heaven and the Holy Spirit. And this is not via physical training of the mind. It is by coming into contact with the Holy Spirit. By coming into contact with a life giving influence. And an all knowing and eternal intellect.
John One tells us that in the beginning was the word, and the Word was with the Mighty One, and the Word was the Mighty One.
So let me see here, the Word and Yawah are one? And the word became flesh and we beheld Him as the Son of Yawah? I wonder then, does this mean that the Spirit of Yawah is in His written word? And so what happens if I get His word stored up inside me? Wouldn't I then have His Spirit in me and not just upon and about me? Wouldn't He then indwell me by His Spirit through the medium and go between which is His word?
And since Christ was the Word made flesh, and is our mediator, then it appears that the medium of propagation is His word in us. Hence the Word is both a seed in us that grows up in us and it is the doorway to the spiritual reality and the means whereby we obtain His Spirit within us and not just about, without us and upon our outer being. He comes into us and indwells us.
Now if you look up the word abode it means dwelling place and house or home.
"Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." John 14:22
So both the Father and the Son gain entrance to our inner being through the word we plant inside us. And it is through the word the indwells us that they reveal or manifest themselves to us. And we understand that the Father and the Son are one you know? Revealed as one spiritual being we know as the Holy Spirit. Go read, and learn and grow.
Spiritual growth is not in how many numbers of people amass to hear the teachings and preachings at Church. It is in the spiritual growth of each individual soul. And this is how Christ sees growth of the Kingdom, not in mass numbers but in the growth of your soul. Of course men think in material and money terms and so, growth to them is in numbers in attendance and they are blind leaders leading the blind. They keep the people blind to the facts of growth. They do not even understand the word and how the word is made alive in us.
"...If a man love me,
he will keep my words:
and my Father will love him,
and we will come unto him,
and make our abode with him...."
