Understanding the End Times

No one can have a full picture of things mentioned for the last days unless they include in their studies the book of Zechariah. And yet, when someone does read there they come up with some conclusions based upon errors.

The errors they make are in the interpretation of the time line of events prophesied in Zechariah chapters 12 to 14.

We read in the Zechariah One that he is alive in the reign of Darius and so he is alive in the times of Daniel. And so is Ezekiel. Hence Zechariah is prophesying from the captivity before the return in Ezra and Nehemiah.

In Zech 12 to 14 we are reading about the return of Judah to Jerusalem and the people again in the land of Israel. And about the fountain of waters who will be Christ. And the destruction of Jerusalem after Christ. And then in the far future there is a return of Judah and then the nations come against Judah and Jerusalem to judge it and then Yawah, after He uses the nations to judge Judah turns on them He brought against Jerusalem to judge them.

Now I know how some writers like to come along an redefine things, how they will look for instance for every reference to a ill person and take that and start to build types and shadows for a figure they want us to receive as the Antichrist. And they will want to take prophecy and rewrite it so that it appears that sum things are yet to be fulfilled when they have already been fulfilled in past ages. And they want to do this to perpetuate certain views to keep us ever buying their books and ever needing their religious services.

The prophecies in Isiah and Jeremiah all are looking forwards through the yet future exile into the land of Babylon in which the temple and the walls of Jerusalem are destroyed. Then at the end of Daniel's times, Ezra and Nehemiah bring a few people back from Babylon and they begin to rebuild the temple and the wall and to rebuild Jerusalem that has been destroyed. And so, did your teachers bother to tell you these facts?

Your view of when and where prophecy is to be fulfilled all depends upon whether or not you have read the Bible and learned the Biblical facts of history. If you do not have all of the facts then you are mislead and easily fall pray to those who sensationalize things with astonishing scenarios and thus make a pitch for us to buy their books to learn more. And here at Dan's Gate you are learning all you need to know to get started on the right view of things, wherein all the text are made available for free. I am not selling you anything here. I am giving it to you.

(Now some of you haven't the means to contribute to old Dan and some of you have more than enough for yourself and your house and can easily contribute to Dan. If you think I live in a fancy house and know the blessing of making ends meet then you are wrong. Many folk in third world nations live better than I do. Yet if you want to give your money to R.G. Stair or to TBN or to CBN then go ahead and do so and you reap what you sow.)

Well, you need to read the first chapters of Zechariah if you want to get a over view of prophecy through the ages. The gist of things for the far future and I mean in our times.

If you do not know the story of history and where the prophet was living at in the story when they foretold the future. And then you will not know if what they told then came to past thereafter in the past ages or is yet to come to past here in the last day. And this is a fact. You will be lost in history and will be applying things to the wrong places in time.

Christ told us that in the future from his times Jerusalem would be destroyed. Some people today who do not understand much and have not read much of the Bible apply this to our times here and make it seem as if this applies to modern Jerusalem. Well, Jerusalem was destroyed in the times of the Romans around 90 to 92 A.D. as best I recall. So this came to pass a long time ago. It came to pass around the time of John's exile to the isle of Patmos.

These scenarios that some of our modern scholars paint in their long volumes of books clearly show a lack of education in the history of the Bible. I can honestly say that we are not going to see the unfolding of things the way they paint the picture. The future is not going to unfold as they want us to believe. It is not going to unfold in the Evangelical view of things nor in the Zionist view of things.

It is not going to unfold in the view of things that James Lloyd, R.G. Stair, Tex Marrs, Peter J. Peters, CBN or TBN, portrays.

If you want a good preacher from this age to listen to then listen to William Branham. And don't listen to someone trying to tell you what Branham said. Some folk associate themselves with Branham to lend credibility to themselves such as R.G. Stair does.
